The General Mills Box Tops for Education program offers shoppers a chance to print grocery coupons from their computers while supporting the school of their choice.
To get the coupons, you must first sign up, with your mailing address and email, at the Box Tops Web site. Then select the school you want to support. When you are officially logged in, check the coupon offerings, which change periodically, and print them from your own printer. The site regularly features coupons for products such as Cheerios, Ziploc bags, Yoplait Go-Gurt yogurts and other General Mills products.
Clip the 10-cent coupon from the packaging after you buy your groceries and send it to your school of choice. This popular program has raised $175 million of the past 10 years, according to the Box Tops Web site. You can also send more money to your school by shopping at participating online vendors through the Box Tops site and through getting a Box Tops Visa card.
Periodically, General Mills offers sweepstakes and special promotions to save more on groceries and other products and to earn more money for schools. Last year, my kids' school raised over $1,000 through this program, most of which bought classroom supplies. Some schools received over $20,000 last year!
What a great way to save on groceries and support education at the same time.
Also, here is a $30 coupon booklet offer for cleaning and pet products.
